2013 The horrible truth

Assuming the world wont end on December 21 2012 their will be a 2013. The year 2013 is in for a surprise that will knock everyone's socks off and make them sit down. Resent NASA scientists have been studying a possibility that seems that just may be a probability. They believe that sometime in early within this next year that I will eat a sandwich. Many of them are uncertain which type of sandwich it may be but most likely choices range from peanut butter and jelly to ham and cheese. They have decided to not rule out any strange combinations do to my out going personality so they have assigned an entire section of their staff just to look into the strange combinations. Now those combinations range from a living cat between two buns to the school grilled cheeses. One of these daring scientists went as far as to actually try one of these but was soon hospitalized after taking a bite of his entire cow sandwich. doctors quickly pumped his stomach and this unsung hero was soon back to work. No one can really be sure what type of sandwich it will be. We can all hope though that it will be delicious.

Big Gambling Duck.

Today on December 12, 2012 locals of London England had an eye appealing show float down the Thames river. A Giant Yellow Rubber Ducky was towed down the river in a Publicity stunt in attempts to make people have more fun. It is sponsored by an online Bingo company. This attempt at awesomeness i feel would work out pretty well but many people were not really sure why there was a giant duck floating past them. The duck stood about 50 feet tall and was filled mostly with air obviously. I personally feel this would defiantly promote fun and was a great idea. Like who doesn't love giant rubber ducks.

Sunland Wont Shine for a while

If your not allergic to it peanut butter is something that people really enjoy but recently there has been a bit of a buttery mess with this delicious product. The company Sunland was about to re-open after their recent problem with organic peanut butter that gave people salmonella in 20 different states but was halted by the FDA because of poor and unsafe processing of the products or the peanut butter. This will cause the company to have to wait even longer to start producing again. This could potentially cause a shortage of organic peanut butter. Personally i enjoy non organic and this in no way effects me. :)

hostess closing

Well they say Twinkies can survive a nuclear explosion but  i guess not a company sell out. hostess the delicious company that has been around for 85 years has decided to sell be sold by the highest bidder due to a union strike. The union workers are hoping that who ever buys the company will decide to put workers back to work but no one is really sure what will really happen to them. Plenty of people are worried on whether or not they will still be able to buy their favorite little treats like snowballs, twinkies, cupcakes, and zebra cakes. This is a sour feeling for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Princess Laya a Disney princess?

This week disney has made a move that has upset many star wars fans. Lucas Arts was bought by disney. this move has upset many fans because they fear that Disney will bring shame to the worldy loved Saga. there has already been an anouncement that disney will be coming out with a rumored 7th episode sometime in 2013. these new set of episodes are supposed to take place after episode 6. This effect is similar to how they made episode 4-6 before 1-3. Many are speculating on what this movie will do to Star Wars' huge fan base. Personally i hope they do not mess too much with it. Star Wars is a Si Fi classic that touched the lives of many.

Kewannee is No Longer Radio Active?

If you have not heard yet let me tell you. The Kewanee nuclear power plant is being shut down. The owners ,Dominion, has decided to shut down the power plant next year after failed attempts of trying to sell the plant failed. The news of the plant closing was a bit of a shock to many people including yours truly. This week they had made the announcement and this past Tuesday they started to lay out the process of shutting down the plant that powers a lot of homes throughout North East Wisconsin. The plant closing will leave 650 people without jobs and many are concerned about how this dismantling process will effect the environment around Kewanee. The uranium used in the plant will remain onsite though they have said. It is sad that this has to happen but who knows what will happen in the time that it is still open.

That Sleepy Sensation

Plenty of people have heard about how yawning is contagious. You see someone else do it and u get the sudden urge to do it yourself. The reason people have this contagious yawning effect is because when your mind sees someone else do it your brain has a reaction that causes you to yawn in an involuntary empathetic way. This reaction is also demonstrated in chimpanzees, baboons, and dogs. Now this develops as you get older so children of a very young age do not have this reaction but it is developed with time. A resent study shows that like us puppies also have this process development. very young puppies are not contagious i guess you could say. i guess dogs are mans best friends.

Apples Next Little Big Thing

The whole country is covered in apples and i am not just talking about the type that grows on trees. The company Apple has grown into nearly every inch of the country. its said that out of all teenagers that own smart phones that 40% if them own Iphones. Apple recently came out with their latest generation Iphone and has released their latest generation of Ipods but what else does apple have coming?Apple will be coming out soon with their latest device. The IPad mini or tablet sized IPad has been talked about for the past couple of days and it has positive and negative speculations. Apple claims that with the new 7 inch tablet wont be any less amazing than its larger version. They intend to throw themselves into the tablet mix where amazon and Google have been exploring. People have been wondering the price for this guy though. most kindles cost approximately $199 but the Ipad mini is estimated to be around $329. This little little bit has been getting consumers to think about whats really better.

Epic Battle for White House

Today, October 3,2012 at 8 P.M. central time President Barack Obama is going head to head against Governor Mitt Romney. This year we are fortunate to be in an election year. This is the first of three presidential debates that will help either one win over undecided voters or voters who are on the borderline of who they want to be president. these debates are crustal for them to win because it may just put either one on top. Topics for the night include the economy, Obama-care, and the job market. These three bits are large topics that each one has their own huge opinions on. this is a good example of politics and its important for people to see and hear whats going on.

A Fair Lady of Guatemala

Recently Archaeologists have discovered a tomb in Guatemala. they discovered it to be the tomb of Lady K'abel, who was a Maya Holy Snake Lord. she was queen for a large part of Maya time period. During excavation they uncovered stones with carvings of a woman's face and symbols of lady K'abel. This is signification because the discovery of her tomb can fill gaps in maya history. the Maya were one of the largest civilizations in the New World prior to Christopher Columbus came over from Portugal. The Sequestration of Spain though conquered them violently breaking up their culture and history so the discovery of an old queen is signification.

Mitt Romney Caught on Video.

Politics is a dirty game. That is something everyone can agree on pretty much. with this fact when it comes to a presidential campaign everything you have ever done is brought to light. The other day a video of Mitt Romney talking at a banquet was brought to light because in the video he is heard talking about why he has not gone on talk shows such as the View or Letterman or entertainment shows like Saturday Night Live. This is significant because his reasons weren't so nice really and made it seem like he was playing it safe. President Obama though has been seen making appearances on these shows. This little tid-bit can effect some voters thinking on who they really want to have be their next president.

Assasination in Lybia

Yesterday September 11, 2012, there was an assassination of a United State Ambassador in Benghazi Libya. Christopher Steven was fleeing the Embassy when he was decimated by a Rocket attack. Government officials believe that this attack which also killed three other United States citizens had been planned for a while. This also happened right around the time of an embassy attack in Egypt where anti U.S. protesters attacked the embassy in Cyro. Fox news has said that the U.S. Navy is currently moving two navel ships into the Libyan sea area. I personally feel things are heating up in the middle east and there's a big increase of extremest. i feel that if things are not solved properly we are going to make things worse.

Its a Crabby situation

If you were to live in a place with no sunlight would you need eyes? This is a very simple question and most people would say no you do not need eyes but some marine biologist and scientists are starting to think this is not true for some of our fishy friends. Scientists have been looking at some deep sea crab species that live around a half a mile under the water where light can not penetrate and have noticed that some species use their sensitivity to blue and ultraviolet light to sort toxic coral from safe coral. The safe coral is where they may be able to find their food source Plankton. That is a pretty good thing to be able to do if you think about it.
